As part of K. Bradford’s Artist in Residency with FCCW, they are offering a series of workshops and interactive, creative laboratory experiments drawing upon some of the storytelling, sculptural, and mythic elements of their performance work, Wild Glitch. Join us for a collective making space inspired by the worlds of futuristic trancestor, Glitch.

This storytelling lab will focus on storytelling through oral history as a community process to generate stories that live in a call and response. Leaning into trans/qenderqueer collectivity, we will share stories from pivotal moments of gender expansion, dysphoria, and emergence. Rotating through different pairings and groupings, participants will practice a range of approaches to oral history as both creative generation and as a community praxis. Our stories are a trans organism, each story is a ripple effect that shapes how we tell our trans tales. 

Note: No previous experience or skills necessary. This workshop is open only to those who identify as trans/nonbinary/genderqueer.
