Join us for one of four carpentry courses, where participants work together to build a small shed structure from the ground up! Over the course of the build, you’ll learn the fundamentals of framing and construction, including safe use of power tools, reading and interpreting drawings, and translating plans.

Session 1 will focus on rough framing and Session 2 will focus on interior workspace build-out and finish carpentry. Artists and woodworkers Sarah Watlington and Morgan Street will teach participants these skills and more. Both sessions will be chock full of building skills!

The small shed we are building is a mini-workshop structure to support future building classes at FCCW!  No experience encouraged! Closed toed shoes and pants are required!

Space is limited and there is a lot to learn, so please sign up for just one workshop day and plan to be at FCCW from 10AM–4PM, with an on-time arrival.
