Do you want to record music at home? This hands-on workshop will explore the process of home recording in a creative and accessible way. Learn how to set up a simple home studio, layer sounds from different sources, and use low-cost tools (including ones from the Feminist Synth Lab library) to bring your musical ideas to life.

From setting up a studio with your laptop to mixing your first track, we’ll demystify the recording process and help you get started on the path of discovering your own sound. The first half will be presentational; the second half will be interactive. Bring your ears, your questions, or any gear you’d like to play with—this session is for you. See you there!
