We’re so pleased with Transchool Vol. 2 anthology — it’s another incredible collection of work by trans writers 18-25 and their mentors from Transchool! To properly celebrate this book, we’re hosting a launch party at FCCW that will include readings from several authors published in Transchool Vol 2, including mentors, Amos Mac and torrin a. greathouse, followed by a live DJ set by Casia Levine — come enjoy bites from Pine & Crane and a selection of wine and non-alcoholic drinks!

Transchool is an introductory course on trans studies and writing for aspiring trans writers, ages 18-25 based in the U.S. Inspired by the letters written to the mutual aid Instagram account @transanta, Allies in Arts founded Transchool, a summer workshop for trans youth writers across the US. Transchool students receive an honorarium to support their ability to take time off of work to learn, and all assigned reading and course materials are supplied. Proceeds from the book go back to Allies in Arts to support future Transchool classes!
